What an incredible wine this is. It's full throttle Malbec with layers of ripe fruit, a hint of smoke and spice on the nose and rich textured palate. It's one of Bodegas Staphyle's flagship wines, and one that they're rightly proud of.

Dragon de Vino, was inspired by the incredible landscape of Potrerillos. Its omnipresent pre-cordilleran mountains, the road from Cacheuta winding along the water of the lake, from the tunnel to enter the most unexpected vineyard in Mendoza.
All this made me think about the magic of the terroir and its derivation in the noble Malbec Wine that this bottle contains.

Bodega Staphyle was born of the Porretta’s family dream to produce their wines. This all started in 2002 when the family rebuilt their winery that had originally be build in the 1930s. Today this boutique winery marries that tradition with the latest in wine making technology to produce harmonious wines that offer a lot a value.

The vineyards are located in the area of Ugarteche and Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, known as the first wine region of Argentina.
